Terms and Conditions

By registering, users implicitly accept these terms and conditions.
Registration conditions: be 18 years old or over and at least secondary (High School) 3 passed. In addition, the student must be familiar with the Internet and word processing software (Word or similar).
Training costs
The student agrees to pay the fees that cover the course, in one or more installments in order to have access to the Acadent Pro training space.
Tax credit
Acadent Pro dental administrative assistant training costs are tax deductible.
Acadent is an accredited educational institution and a tax receipt will be given to the student.
Cancelation
In the event of cancellation, the student must notify Acadent Pro by email at info@acadent.ca within a maximum of 12 days after registration. The refund is calculated pro rata based on what the student studied and what he/she paid, plus a cancellation fee of 10% of the price of courses not taken (maximum of $50). Acadent Pro will reimburse the difference for courses not taken within ten days.
Re-registration or retake the examinations
Online access remains open for a maximum of six months. If a student wants to re-register after this interval, he (she) must pay the re-registration fee of $59.99. A fee of $39.99 applies for the exam retake. The passing threshold for both exams is 60%. A student who obtained a mark below 60% on the final repeat exam will have to repeat the training from the start.
Confidentiality
The student undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the educational material throughout the training. He/she is required to keep his/her username and password confidential. The training content is protected and no audio or video recording of the training is permitted.
Certificate and transcript
A certificate attesting to successful completion of the training will be sent in electronic format free of charge. To receive the certificate in paper format a fee of $14.00 will be charged.
Course notes
Registered students will download and print lecture notes for free from the website or emails sent by teachers. For course notes sent by mail, a fee of $37.99 will be charged.
Secure payments
All payments transactions are made with PayPal, Sure Cart or Interac transfer. Acadent has no access to its customers’ debit or credit card numbers.
Personal data protection policy
Students’ personal data will only be collected in the context of the delivery of online dental secretarial training. The information collected will be used only for educational and administrative purposes related to the course.
Personal data will be stored securely, using appropriate security measures. Access to data will be limited to authorized individuals only for the purpose of providing training and providing technical support.
Student personal data will not be shared, rented or sold to third parties. Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with legal requirements.
Students will be informed of any changes to the data protection policy, and their consent will be obtained if necessary.
By agreeing to follow the online dental secretarial training, students acknowledge having read and accepted this personal data protection policy. This policy is subject to periodic updates to reflect changes in data collection and management practices.
